Exhibitions
During the viewing times all lots that are offered in the respective upcoming auction will be on display at our premises. Our specialists will be at your disposal for any questions.
Assessments
Reports on the current condition of an item are available on request.
Bids submitted in writing or over the phone
Please note that the bids submitted in writing or by fax must be received at least 24 hours before the respective auction starts, otherwise there is no guarantee for processing.
Starting price and bidding
All lots will be called out at the starting prices shown in the catalogue. Bidding increments are max. 10% (however, the auctioneer reserves the right of modification).
Buyer's premium
A buyer’s premium of 24% will be payable on successful bids. For artworks since 1900 and later an additional resale royalty of 2% will be charged.
Payment
Purchases must be paid cash, by cheque, credit card (MasterCard, Visa, Maestro, American Express) or cash card during the auction or alternatively within two weeks after the date of invoice issued for your purchase.

Invoices issued during or immediately after the auction are subject to verification and may be corrected. In case of payment or bank transfer in foreign currency, exchange losses and bank charges shall be to the debit of the buyer. Should the buyer be in arrears, interests of 1% for every month or part of a month will be charged.
Collection
Paid lots can be collected during the auction or within seven days after the auction. Please make a corresponding appointment via mail or phone in order to avoid waiting times.

Items that are not picked up within four weeks after the issuance of an invoice will be stored at the buyer’s expense.
Shipping / Transport
Shipping of purchased objects is possible. However, we reserve the right to refuse the shipping of fragile objects and furniture. The transport results exclusively at owner’s risk. We generally ship the objects by postal package (DHL), this also applies to small objects because only this way assurance up to € 500 Euro is guaranteed. Our employees prepare the packing carefully but nevertheless transport bears unforeseeable risks. Please prove if a collection in person is possible.

As careful and accurate packing is time-consuming, shipping delays of 14 days the most may occur. Objects are shipped in chronological order according to the incoming payments. We appreciate your understanding in this matter.

In the case of damage please notice the following advice: Return the package to your post office with all substance and packing materials within 24 hours - even if it is outwardly undamaged. Only the employees of your post office can initiate a damage adjustment. Request a damage report and ask for a duplication.
Auction Results
Lists of sold and unsold lots are sent upon request. At the first workday following the auction, the results are available on www.kunstauktionen-duesseldorf.de/en or by phone: +49 (0) 211-302 001 0.
Post-Auction Sale
During the week following an auction unsold items will be on display at our premises and can be purchased at the starting price plus the buyer's premium.
