Lisa Tomasetti is a photographer and visual artist based in Sydney. She has exhibited extensively throughout Australia and internationally, including solo exhibitions in London, Barcelona, and Shanghai. Her work is held in major public and private collections, including the National Gallery of Australia and other leading institutions.

She has undertaken international residencies and important commissions, including for the National Portrait Gallery in Canberra. Her work was included in the exhibition “Starstruck: Australian Movie Portraits” (2019–2020).

She has been a finalist for numerous awards, including the Archibald Prize and the International Photography Awards. Alongside her artistic practice, she works as a highly regarded film and television stills photographer, contributing to major productions.

From 2006 to 2018, she was the official photographer for The Australian Ballet’s international tours. Her work often explores the contrast between classical performance and urban environments, particularly through her series photographing dancers in city streets.
