Oil painting on panel depicting "Allegory of Vanitas" and bearing the coat of arms representing the commissioning family. This work is attributed to the Flemish painter Frans Floris the Elder (ca. 1519–1570). The painting is of considerable interest for its subject matter and the pictorial execution, which skillfully constructs the forms through passages of oil paint in glazes, in the style of Flemish painting. There are minor restorations and some light abrasions to the surface.
