LIVE AUCTIONS

Bid in our
auctions

Our live auctions present carefully curated selections of works chosen by our specialists across a wide range of collecting categories. Each auction catalog is the result of extensive research, authentication, and cataloguing, bringing together objects of outstanding historical, artistic, and cultural significance.

Collectors may participate in our auctions from anywhere in the world through several convenient bidding methods.

ONLINE LIVE BIDDING

Bid live in real time through the Hargesheimer bidding platform or via our trusted international partners, including Drouot and Invaluable.

ABSENTEE BIDS

Submit the maximum amount you are willing to pay. Our auctioneer will execute bids on your behalf at the lowest possible price.

TELEPHONE BIDDING

For selected lots, one of our specialists will contact you shortly before your lot is offered and relay the bidding live.

Bids may also be placed in advance of the auction through our online platform. Absentee bids may be submitted online or in writing before the auction begins. Telephone bidding is subject to availability and must be arranged before the auction.

Please note: Registration may be required before participating in an auction. We recommend completing registration well in advance of the sale.

ONLINE MARKETPLACE

at fixed prices

Beyond our auction calendar, the Hargesheimer Marketplace offers a continually evolving selection of carefully curated works available for immediate purchase at fixed prices.

The Marketplace brings together paintings, sculpture, Asian art, jewellery, decorative arts, design, and collectible objects from trusted international consignors. Every object is reviewed by our specialists before being offered for sale, allowing collectors to purchase with confidence.

Unlike an auction, Marketplace purchases can be completed instantly online without competitive bidding.

AFTERSALE

Continue
collecting

If you missed an auction—or if you're still considering a particular work—many unsold lots remain available during our post-auction Aftersale.

For approximately two weeks following each auction, eligible lots can still be acquired, offering collectors an additional opportunity to purchase exceptional works after the excitement of the auction has concluded.

The Aftersale catalog is updated immediately following each sale and displays all remaining available lots.

LE SUPERLATIVE

Private
Sales

Some works deserve a more discreet approach.

Through Le Superlative, our private sales division, we connect collectors with exceptional objects that extend beyond the traditional auction market. Whether sourcing museum-quality works, building distinguished collections, or arranging confidential acquisitions, our specialists provide a tailored service based on expertise, discretion, and an international network of collectors, dealers, institutions, and estates.

Private sales offer the flexibility to acquire extraordinary works throughout the year, independent of the auction calendar.
