Description:
A GILT BRONZE SEATED FIGURE OF SHAKYAMUNI China (Tibet), probably 15th century Bronze. H. 22.8 cm. Shakyamuni is seated on a double-lotus base with the hands in bhumisparsa mudra. A vajra is placed on the base before him. The base is sealed with a double-vajra. With traces of age, partially damaged and abraded.
